Cornerstone Alternatives is an SEC Registered Investment Advisor that provides clients with advisory services pertaining to alternative investments. We specialize in private equity, private credit, real estate, venture capital, hedge funds, and more. We believe that alternative investments play a key role in diversifying a portfolio by offering income generation, non-correlation to the stock market, lower volatility, and potential tax benefits.

Meet the Team
Andrew C. Goldberg
Managing Partner
Andrew is the Managing Partner and CCO of Cornerstone Alternatives. Andrew is a seasoned investor who has himself been investing in alternative investments since 2014. He is the co-founder of an emerging alternative investment tracker, and enjoys serving the alternative investment community through his active involvement in a popular alternative investment group. Andrew also has experience in the intellectual property and IT sectors, spearheading numerous data-driven initiatives, including those in AI and machine learning. Residing in South Carolina with his wife and son, Andrew finds joy in coaching his son's sports teams.
Jeff Cooper
Investment Advisor
Jeff is an Investment Adviser Representative with Cornerstone Alternatives. He holds a degree in finance and began his professional career in 1996 as an attorney specializing in private equity, M&A, and financing. In 2004, Jeff returned to Michigan with his wife and two daughters to work in the legal & compliance area for a large public company. Over the years, Jeff has gained significant experience through personal investments in various alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, real estate, and litigation finance. He enjoys traveling, sailing, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
Paul Szilassy
Investment Advisor
Paul is an Investment Advisor with Cornerstone Alternatives. Early in his career he worked in investment banking for a broker-dealer, and has since worked for a large healthcare company in the sales and marketing division. He is himself a seasoned alternative investor across CRE, Litigation Finance, PE, and VC, and has performed extensive due diligence on several hundred deals. Paul is based in the Seattle area with his wife and two adult children. His passions are travel, hiking, skiing, and enjoying delicious, healthy food with fellow appreciators of it.
Dan Rudolph
Head of Operations
Dan is the Head of Operations at Cornerstone Alternatives. Dan has been investing in alternative investments since 2016 and serves as a staff member of a large alternative investment group. He has decades of operations experience working for Hewlett-Packard in various R&D, engineering, and management roles. He and his wife own and operate a small vineyard in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley. In his spare time he enjoys travel, the outdoors, and chasing his grandkids.
